Eight Glendale Prep Seniors Sign to Play Collegiate Sports

Glendale Prep April 14, 2025 -

The Glendale Prep Class of 2025 had plenty to celebrate as eight outstanding student-athletes recently signed their Letters of Commitment to compete at the collegiate level. This marks a significant increase from the three signings in the Class of 2024, a trend that Athletic Director John Kontak hopes to see continue in the years ahead. Surrounded by family members, teammates, and friends at a special signing ceremony, these seniors checked off another major milestone as they look ahead to life after graduation.

“Playing in college is a celebration and an extension of your high school career, but it’s not something that is easily done,” said Kontak during his address to the seniors at the ceremony. “It takes a lot of sacrifice. You’ve taken on this challenge to take it to the next level, and hopefully here at Glendale Prep, we’ve been able to prepare you academically and athletically to shine.”

“This is an incredible milestone for Glendale Prep Athletics because it shows the growth of not only our athletes, but the athletic program as a whole,” shared Kontak. “It takes hard work, dedication, and sacrifice to have an opportunity to play a college sport. As we continue to grow, our goal is to push our athletes toward excellence.”

Congratulations again to all of these incredible seniors. They’ve already accomplished so much, and they’re just getting started!
