It was great to see so many familiar faces at last week’s Bookstore. I am sure many of you are excited and possibly anxious at the start of the new school year when we have to adjust our schedules from the hazy days of summer…

First Day Tomorrow!

Tomorrow is the first day of school! A few reminders: please have your student bring his or her SCHEDULE and a LUNCH to school tomorrow. Label all school supplies including pencil bags, lunchboxes, and water bottles. Finally, drop-off and pick-up tend to take longer the first few weeks of school; please be patient as new and returning students acclimate to the procedures.

Lunches

Our system is now open for weekly ordering, but you can (and this seems easier) order for the whole month in one go. Our weekly ordering closes at 10:00 pm each Thursday evening. (This week only it will remain open until 10:00pm on Friday as everyone gets used to the system). Please make sure to email gplunches@gmail.com with questions regarding the lunch program.

Our daily vendors are the following:

Monday – Raising Canes
Tuesday – Culver’s
Wednesday – No Lunch Provided
Thursday -Chick Fil A
Friday -Barros

The Glendale Prep Lunch Program is entirely managed and distributed by our Parent Service Organization (PSO) volunteers. Glendale Prep has partnered with Boonli to provide a secure, fast, and easy-to-use online lunch ordering system. This program is open to all students and staff at Glendale Prep.

ORDER LUNCHES

Get Started:

New Parents-

1.  Go to: https://greathearts.boonli.com
2.  Click on Register: Password is griffins4, add account and profile(s) information
3. Sign In: the welcome page will display current information about the Glendale Prep lunch program.
4.   To begin ordering click on the calendar date
5.  Check Out & Pay: Please be sure to complete the check-out process. Do not close your browser prior to receiving the confirmation display or your order may be interrupted and not fully processed. Items left in your shopping cart will not be processed and your order will not be placed.

Returning Parents-

1.  Go to: https://greathearts.boonli.com
2.  Sign in with your username and password
3.  Select student and update the “location” (grade for the new school year) and  click Update Profile
4.  If a student has graduated, select student, and click Remove Profile
5.  Once all profiles are updated, click on the link to go to the menus and begin ordering.

Minimum Order Fee: A $1.00 fee will be charged for orders under $10.00—this applies to new and changed orders.

Please be sure to complete the checkout process when placing an order.  You can confirm that you have done so by looking at your order calendar.  If any of the items appear highlighted in blue, they are in your cart but are not yet confirmed purchases.  Items left in your shopping cart will not be processed and your order will not be placed.

Changes/Cancellations: There are no changes or cancellations to an order once the order is placed. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS.

Missed Lunches: There are no refunds for missed meals for any reason. Credits are not applied due to illness as we have already purchased the meal for you.

Late Orders: Late orders are not accepted.

Payment Information: The lunch program accepts payment by Visa, MasterCard, or your debit card with a Visa or MasterCard logo.

Credit Card Payments: After entering your credit card for payment, a confirmation page will display.  If you do not get the confirmation page displayed, please do not attempt to enter payment again this may result in duplicate charges. Contact Boonli for assistance.

View your order history: Click the “order history” link on the navigation bar.

Teacher Appreciation Lunches

It has been the PSO tradition to provide lunch once a month for our faculty, traditionally on a Teacher Development day. Please sign up HERE for this year’s lunches that will now take place on WEDNESDAYS. For your convenience, we have all of the dates added to the sign up for the whole year; the software will then send you monthly reminders. This is a great opportunity to volunteer in person and/or donate some of the food items needed!

Donuts on Fridays 

The fun tradition of donuts in the courtyard will resume Friday, August 19th.

For those of you not familiar with this event, students can purchase a donut and either juice or milk for only $1.00 each Friday starting at 7:15am.
