Teacher Appreciation Lunch

Our next TA lunch is March 27^th!  Thank you to all those who have already signed up. If you would like to donate or volunteer, please click HERE to sign up. We can’t do it without you and the teachers appreciate it so much!

Below are the items we still need for the TA lunch. We appreciate everyone who can donate.

• 2 Dozen Deviled Eggs ( equals 1 dozen whole eggs) – Need 2
• 24 Rolls or Bread Equivalent w/ butter – Need 2
• 3 Heads romaine Lettuce – washed and cut – Need 3
• 4 cups diced tomato (grape/cherry)– Need 2
• Diced Turkey and Ham 1lb of each – Need 1
• Gluten Free – Dessert – Need 1

Lunch Program – As you know our lunch program is entirely run by the PSO, and it certainly takes a team effort to ensure lunch is available and served each day to our students. Some of our parent volunteers have been doing their various roles for years! I want to take a moment to say a special thank you to some of these amazing people:

• Katie Wilson – Volunteer Parent Coordinator – Katie has been doing this role for many years. She puts together the monthly rosters for lunch volunteers, fills in gaps when volunteers cannot make it, and also serves lunches herself. She has done a wonderful job all these years, and Katie I personally want so say thank you very much and how very much I appreciate you.
• Darryl Kwan – Again, this is another vital and behind the scenes role. Darryl ensures our snack supply is always stocked and also gets all the additional lunch items needed. He also has to put up with the night-before texts from me when I realize I need more items for Field Day or Music Concerts the next day! Darryl, thank you so much for all of your help and support over the years.
• Polsia Faris – Boonli Lunch Coordinator – Polsia has been creating our lunch menus in Boonli, sending the vendors their weekly orders, dealing with parent inquiries, and reminding us all to order for years. She loves it (and me!) so much she actually stayed on this year although she now has no students at Glendale Prep!. I thank you for all your help over these many years; it is so appreciated and the school will miss you.

PSO Board Meetings

Our next PSO meeting will be April 4th at 5:30 PM in the GP Library. Please see below for the remainder of the year’s meeting schedule.

Lunches

Our system is open for weekly ordering, but you can (and this seems easier) order for the whole month in one go. Our weekly ordering closes at 10:00 PM each Thursday evening. Please make sure to email gplunches@gmail.com with questions regarding the lunch program.

Monday – Raising Canes
Tuesday – Culver’s
Wednesday – Half Day: No Lunch Provided
Thursday – Chick Fil A
Friday – Sardella’s
