Glendale Prep Athletics is hosting our CV5 3 on 3 basketball tournament this Saturday! We are excited for this event and know you are too! Come spend your Saturday, June 1st at Glendale Prep from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. This is a commemorative event and all money is for the Carson von Aspen fund. Payment for teams will be accepted at the door! $10 a player/$30 a team.This is a double-elimination tournament, games will be played to 7 or whoever is up after 8 minutes. We’ll have music, emcee, concessions, and a photo booth! See you there!ALL IN. #BeAGrif
Volunteer Fingerprinting Opportunity
Glendale Prep will be offering a volunteer fingerprinting opportunity on Wednesday, June 5th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. If you are planning to help at the school or any school event, you will need to go through this fingerprinting process. Most often fingerprint clearances are good for three years. Please schedule your appointment time here.The school incurs a $20 processing fee from the state of AZ for each volunteer fingerprinted. If you are able to make a donation to help offset the cost, we would be grateful. A donation can be made on the payment portal, or by cash/check to the front office. Fingerprint clearances issued by Glendale Prep are valid for Archway Glendale, as well.
Yearbooks
We have a small number of 2019-20 yearbooks available for purchase. Come to the front office with $50 cash or check during office hours.
Summer Office Hours
Summer office hours are 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday from May 28th-July 26th. The office will be closed May 27th, June 24th – July 5th, and July 29th. Feel free to contact the front office at attendance@glendaleprep.org with any questions.
Evaluations
Parents can expect evaluation by Friday, June 7th by means of email. If you do not receive an email please contact Mrs. Hayakawa at shayakawa@glendaleprep.org.

GP Bookstore
The Glendale Prep Bookstore is scheduled for one day only: Monday, July 29th from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. All families will need to visit the GP Bookstore once during its operation in order to receive student textbooks, locker assignments, class schedules, etc. and will have an opportunity to place bookshelves in their lockers if desired. It is especially important that junior parents attend with their student to confirm their student blazer size as blazers are nonexchangeable and nonrefundable. The Bookstore sign up link, Consumable payment portal link, Classics to Keep list, and other important details will be provided in upcoming emails so, please be sure to check your email over the summer break.
Fall Typing Class
Students interested in improving their typing skills will be able to take a typing class next school year. Classes will meet after school once per week for ten weeks. Each class will be one hour long. Students will be provided with a laptop to use. The instructor will provide a focused typing environment, personalized feedback, instruction, and assigned practice that will improve typing proficiency. Typists of all levels may join. The cost is $50 for the ten-week course. Spots are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. If there is significant demand, a second course may be offered at the beginning of the spring semester.
