A Note From Headmaster

Hello Parents,

I wanted to update you on extra-curriculars at GP. We have almost wrapped up fall sports. The season will culminate in our high school cross-country team competing in the state championship this weekend. We will celebrate all fall teams on Wednesday, November 20th, at our Sports Ceremony.

The Griffin Players put on a wonderful performance of Jeeves at Sea with a cast entirely made up of GP faculty. A special thank you to Mrs. LeTrent!

We have 185 student-athletes who have come out for the Winter sports season! A special thank you to Mr. Garrison for his dedication to our community.

One request– Great Hearts will be sending out another pulse survey this coming week. I am competitive and would like to have more parents fill out this survey than any other prep school in Arizona, proving that GP continues to be the best school in Arizona. Please fill out the pulse survey; it should take less than 2 minutes.

Have a good weekend,
Mr. Navarrette
Headmaster

NO PARKING
Parents, it is important we are always considerate of our neighborhood community by making sure we do not park on private property or blocking residential driveways. I want to know that our faculty, staff, parents, and students are appreciated by our neighbors and seen as a blessing rather than a frustration.

A Peoria police officer came by the office this week because some parents continue to park on restricted private streets. He shared with me that parking on some restricted streets will not result in a simple traffic citation but is criminal trespassing given they are private property. Please remember, that parents should never park on Planada Ln, Camino De Oro,  82nd Drive, or on Electra Ln. Parents may park in our lot or can park South of the community park that is located caddy-cornered to the school.

Board Game Night

Community Investment & Tax Credit
Thank you for the many ways you support our Glendale Prep community! Your partnership makes a Great Hearts education possible! As we near the end of 2019, please consider making a year-end gift to our Community Investment campaign and Tax Credit drive to deepen the impact you make at our school.

What is the Community Investment campaign?
As a charter school, we are funded significantly less than district schools. The Community Investment campaign bridges this gap between what is needed to deliver a top tier education to our students and what we receive from public funding. To provide our faculty and students with the resources they need, we ask for your support by giving to Community Investment. Click here to learn more about giving to Community Investment.

What is the Arizona Public School Tax Credit drive?
The State of Arizona allows taxpayers to contribute to the public charter school of their choice and receive a dollar-for-dollar credit on their state tax liability. Your Tax Credit contribution supports our extra-curricular programs, field trips, and character-building programs. Click here to learn more about donating your Tax Credit.

Thank you for partnering with us to deliver this life-changing education to our students!
