FAMILY GIVING
Together, We Make a Difference!
As we settle back into the second quarter, we want to thank all the families who have already supported Glendale Prep through Community Investment, the Arizona Public School Tax Credit, and volunteer service. Your generosity helps make our school community such a special place!
We’re making encouraging progress toward our fundraising goals, and there’s still time to help us get there. Whether you make a gift, take advantage of the tax credit, or help your employer match a donation, there are several meaningful ways to invest in our students and school.
Community Investment
Glendale Prep receives approximately $1,500 less per student annually than district schools. Community Investment gifts help bridge that gap, allowing us to recruit and retain exceptional teachers and continue providing the outstanding, rigorous curriculum our families value.
Every contribution helps strengthen the educational experience we offer our students.
Arizona Public School Tax Credit
Did you know you can support Glendale Prep through Arizona’s dollar-for-dollar public school tax credit? Even better, you don’t need to have a student enrolled at our school to participate! Arizona residents can include grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, and co-workers in supporting our school community.
Tax credit contributions help fund Athletics, Field Trips, and after-school enrichment clubs, giving students more opportunities to learn, grow, and get involved.
For the 2026 tax year, eligible contributions are up to $200 for single filers and $400 for married couples filing jointly. These contributions can be claimed as a credit against your Arizona state income tax, subject to eligibility and applicable tax rules.
Want to participate? Use this link and scroll to the second half of the page to find the Arizona Public School Tax Credit option.
Double Your Impact with Corporate Matching!
Your generosity may go even further through your employer’s charitable giving program. Many companies match employee donations to Glendale Prep, including American Express, UnitedHealthcare, Fidelity, UPS, USAA, Cigna, Vanguard, and others.
Some employers also recognize volunteer service by matching volunteer hours with charitable contributions!
Take a moment to check your eligibility: Visit Matching Gifts – Great Hearts Glendale Prep and search for your employer to learn more about available opportunities.
Thank You for Supporting Glendale Prep!
Our school thrives because of the families and community members who believe in our mission. Every donation, volunteer hour, tax credit contribution, and employer match helps create meaningful opportunities for our students. We appreciate all you do to make Glendale Prep a wonderful place to learn and grow!
Questions about Community Investment, the Arizona Public School Tax Credit, Corporate Matching, or Athletic Sponsorships? Please contact Tammy Kempton, Family Giving Officer, at tkempton@glendaleprep.org.
Thank you for being part of the Glendale Prep community!

Semester 1 Curricular Art Showcase
Glendale Prep families, we are excited to add a curricular art showcase to our family calendar this year which will showcase our GP student artwork from the semester. Please save the date for an on-campus event, December 7, 5:00-6:30PM.
Semester 1 art students will remain on campus after school to set-up the hallways and shared spaces, turning them into the “Griffin Gallery.” A sign-up will be in next week’s blast if parents would like to bring baked goods or drinks for this event.
Pokémon Cards
Pokémon cards are not permitted on the Glendale Prep campus. Leave them at home or in your locker so that trading, battling, and sorting don’t disrupt classes or student interactions. If a card is seen during the school day, it will be collected and returned to a parent or guardian at the end of the day. Thank you for helping keep the focus on learning.
Final Exams
Final exams are a culmination of the material students have learned through the entirety of the first semester and account for 10% of a student’s final grade in each course.
Students who miss a final exam due to illness with a doctor’s note will make up any missed final exams in January, on a given date. Unexcused absences or illness without a doctor’s note will result in the score of a zero for any missed final exam.
The schedule of exams is as follows:
