A Note From Headmaster
Hello Parents, It is important I share with you two unique days in Quarter 3. As we were wrapping up Semester 1, I set out to ensure our plans for Semester 2 would provide ways to help ease the burden on our teachers, who are teaching both students onsite and online. One aspect of our plan was to provide specific workdays in Quarter 3 and Quarter 4 for teachers to dedicate the entire day to grading. We determined it best to provide time before our first round of deficiency notices. We have scheduled Monday (2/8) and Tuesday (2/9) as off-campus asynchronous learning days. This means that all students, both onsite and online, will complete work on these days from home. Teachers will not have live instruction or Zoom sessions these two days; however, students should plan on both days to spend the hours of a school day completing work at home that teachers will assign to them the week prior. We understand that these off-campus asynchronous learning days were not expected, and we appreciate your flexibility in planning for them in the coming weeks. Sincerely, Mr. Navarrette Quarter 2/ Semester 1 Evaluations 2020-2021 Yearbook Pre-Order Great Hearts Telethon College Counseling · SAT PREP COURSE: Offered to Junior and sophomore students in preparation for this standardized exam.
