A Note from the Headmaster
Hello Parents, Last week, our high school students traveled to Williams, Arizona, for the High School Retreat. This is a special tradition with the goal of strengthening existing friendships while also forming new friendships. It is vital to our community for students to break away from the academic setting to simply be together, surrounded by beauty with no other purpose than fostering conversations and forging life-long memories. HERE is a link to video Ms. Park put together for day one and two of our 2023 Senior and High School Retreat. Please keep this private link in our GP community. Thank you. Enjoy the weekend, Parent-Teacher Conferences Section-level conference sign-ups were emailed to families on Wednesday, September 6th. Make sure to sign up for a time to meet with your child’s teacher during their scheduled day during Conference week. Please reach out to Mrs. McHale (AMcHale@glendaleprep.org) if you did not receive this email, or if your email did not match your student’s Humane Letters (HS) teacher. Be sure to include your child’s name and either section (MS) or Humane Letters teacher (HS) so she can send you the correct sign-up link. When students travel, they expand their knowledge of the world around them, discover more about themselves, and grow more confident. These skills are critical for creating the global citizens of tomorrow, and we would love to have your student join us on this adventure.
