A NOTE FROM THE HEADMASTER
Dear Glendale Prep Families,
As we head into the weekend, I wish each of you a restful and restorative R & R break. With just seven weeks remaining in what has been a truly remarkable school year, we find ourselves entering a lively season, full of academic milestones, performances, celebrations, and culminating events.
In the coming weeks, we look forward to closing out middle school state assessments, 11th grade ACT testing, and the 9th grade ACT Aspire assessment. We also look forward to several community events, including HS 101, PSO Bingo Night, Rising Senior Night, and our New Middle School Parent Information Night. Our students will take the stage for the Griffin Players production of Shrek, as well as 8th, 11th, and 12th grade curricular drama performances, alongside our instrumental and vocal concerts.
As the quarter closes, we will celebrate the close of spring sports and the Spring Sports Awards Ceremony, honor our seniors through Matriculation Day and the Senior Dinner, and recognize our faculty during Teacher Appreciation Week. We will conclude the year with final exams, 5th and 8th grade promotions, and at last, commencement.
Amid the fullness of these final weeks, I encourage each of us to slow down where we can and take in these moments with our children. There is much to celebrate in all they have accomplished before we rush into summer break.
Wishing you a restful and enjoyable weekend.
Mrs. Janssen

Students who miss a final exam due to illness with a doctor’s note will make up any missed final exams the first week of summer break, on a given date. Unexcused absences or illness without a doctor’s note will result in the score of a zero for any missed final exam.
