Quarter 2/Semester 1 Evaluations

Hello Parents,

We hope you all enjoyed your Winter Break. Below you will find information about accessing Second Quarter / First Semester Evaluations. Each of your child’s teachers has written a five to seven sentence paragraph for onsite students (and three to five sentences for online students) touching upon some areas of academic performance and summarizing work done for the semester. These evaluations are by no means comprehensive, but we hope they will provide insight into key areas of growth that will help students establish goals for the coming semester.

Even though teachers write evaluations for parents, we encourage you to share the substance of the narratives with your son or daughter. Evaluations are an integral part of how teachers to know and love each student. As a matter of principle, when we communicate about grades in evaluations, we always provide context and explanation to make the letter grades more meaningful.

All GP Parents should have already created a PowerSchool account. Therefore, you can simply click here and login using the User ID and Password you created. We find clicking “Teacher Comments” on the left side on a laptop/desktop is the best place to view and print teachers’ comments along with grades. If you have difficulty logging in, Mrs. Hayakawa is available and happy to assist at shayakawa@glendaleprep.org.

Please note that the Parent PS Portal will be only open for viewing until Friday, January 22nd. You can print and/or digitally save your child’s evaluation for your own future reference.
