Hello Senior Parents, Today I shared the senior final exam schedule with your students. Seniors will take their S2 final exams the week of 5/11-5/15, concluding all academic endeavors on Thursday, May 14, the day of the senior dinner. In recent years, several of our sister preparatory schools have adopted a schedule that allows seniors to complete their academic responsibilities prior to the school-wide exam period. This model has proven beneficial in several ways. By this point in the year, seniors have largely completed their core academic requirements and are preparing for significant transitions. Concentrating on their final assessments, which are also shortened in length, allows them to engage those responsibilities with greater focus and integrity, rather than extending the exam period at a time when, understandably, their attention is divided. With seniors completing coursework on May 14, students will have the remaining days off (5/15- already scheduled, 5/18, 5/19, 5/20), with the exception of Glendale Prep’s final day of school on Thursday, May 21. We will honor our seniors that morning with a breakfast beginning at 9:30 AM, followed by time together as a class before transitioning to the end-of-year Awards Assembly. As this is a formal assembly, seniors will be required to wear their uniform when they return to campus on May 21. Following the Awards Assembly, students will meet at Haven Church at 1:45PM for graduation rehearsal. Students are required to remain in school uniforms for graduation rehearsal. Ladies may wear the footwear they plan to wear the day of graduation. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. Mrs. Janssen
