The GlendalePrep Bookstore is scheduled for Thursday,July 25th. All families will need to visit the GP Bookstore inorder to receive textbooks, consumables, locker assignments, classschedules, etc. A link to sign up for a time will be sentin the coming weeks. See below for an updated 2024-2025 school supplyand book lists and other important school information. Our office isopen every Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM over thesummer. We will be closed for two weeks from June 25th through July5th. We will resume regular office hours July 22nd.
If your planshave changed for the 2024-2025 school year, and you no longer plan to have yourchild attend Glendale Prep, please reach out to Mrs. Edmiston, so we can refundyour $175 textbook deposit and take care of your child's records, as he or shemoves to a new school. Additionally, having the most updated enrollment allowsus to address our long waitlists.
2024-2025 Books
Consumables: Pleasepay for your Consumables on the payment portal PRIOR to your arrival atBookstore. Payingfor Consumables ahead of time will expedite your Bookstore experience!Parents will otherwise be asked to pay for consumables at the Bookstore throughtheir parent payment portal before receiving your child’s schedule andbooks.
Consumablesinclude Glendale Prep published workbooks and readers, field tripcontributions, 10th-11th grade PSAT testing fees, yearbook etc. Theconsumables product also collects important transportation/ fieldtrip signature releases and tee-shirt sizing information for yourstudent(s). (Note that consumables are separate from the Textbook Depositand Classics to Keep books, and for convenience, we are including theyearbook as part of the consumables. If you do not wish for your child toreceive a yearbook at the end of the school year, please reach out to Mrs. Kimpel fora refund for this cost. Yearbooks will not be for sale at the end of the schoolyear.) Click HERE to pay for your child'sconsumables on the payment portal. If any of the included costs present ahardship for your family, please contact the front office. Consumables willeither be placed in lockers or handed out by teachers.
Importantnote for seniors: The SeniorContribution of $375 helps to pay for a portion of senior-only events suchas senior dinner, senior retreat, graduation, senior panels, etc.
Classicsto Keep: It is the tradition for students at Glendale Prep to develop a personal libraryof books; we call these books "Classics to Keep." Yourchild's class will utilize and annotate these classics during the upcomingschool year, and your child will need to acquire the set of "Classicsto Keep" by the first day of school. These books will remain the students'property. You may purchase the books through a vendor of your choice:Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Abe Books, etc. You must acquire the exact version of eachbook, so please ensure the ISBN matches the list provided HERE,which also has the items linked directly to Amazon. The most updated version of this list can always be foundon our website under the Academics tab; choose “Bookand Supply Lists.” Titles with asterisks (*) indicate the booksthat will be read in the first quarter. For families who do not wish topurchase their own texts, students should touch base with their teacher at thebeginning of each unit and will be given access to an academy copy to beused. Students should not mark in the books provided by Glendale Prep; borrowedbooks must be returned once classwork is finished.
