A Note from the Headmaster

Hello Parents,

This week was energetic and busy. We had Spirit Week and High School Symposium, and there is still more; tonight is our Homecoming Game followed by Saturday’s Homecoming Dance. Here are photos from the week; please keep these private in our community and do not post on social media.

See you tonight at the game!

Sincerely,
Mr. Navarrette
Headmaster

Last Day for Shorts

Friday, November 3rd is the last day to wear uniform shorts. Beginning Monday, November 6th only pants and skirts may be worn to school. Shorts may not be worn again until after Spring Break. As a reminder, gentlemen may not wear ankle socks with pants. “Socks must be white or solid black, navy, or dark brown in color, and extend above the ankle and be free of visible brand logos, patterns, or decorations.”

Sophomore Privilege

Sophomores at Glendale Prep earn the privilege of wearing the Glendale Prep tie as a part of their school uniform and are presented with their GP tie during the Annual Blazer Ceremony in November.

Ties are $25 and are available to purchase HERE [1] on the payment portal for both male and female students in 10th-12th grade until October 31st. 10th grade students will receive their ties at the Blazer Ceremony; 11th and 12th grade students will get their ties from the front office.

Lastly, meet the coach night for winter sports will be Thursday November 2nd in the GP courtyard at 6:00. After a short welcome, each program will break out into a classroom to meet with their sport specific coach. In the meantime, feel free to reach out to any of the coaches listed above with questions about schedules.

Homecoming game: Friday, October 20th is the homecoming football game against Tanque Verde. Kickoff is at 7:00.
