A Note from the Headmaster

Hello Parents,

We have finished our second week of the last quarter with a new tradition at Glendale Prep. We had our first annual High School 101 event that brought 150 folks in attendance (parents and students) to share time together where we helped high school enrolled students gather a sense of what they will experience over the next four years. One important part of the evening was allowing students time to consider the extra-curricular activities available at Glendale Prep. One such activity is Robotics. I am sure you know, but if not, I want to celebrate our robotics team, who will be traveling this coming week to Texas to compete in the World Championship. We are so proud of Mr. Roper, Mrs. Selle, and the students for their dedication and drive to compete and win! Here is a link to an article written about our team.

Robotics

Great Hearts just published a story about Glendale Prep’s AZ Champion Robotics team focusing on the recent successes and preparation for the Worlds competition in mid April, the growth of the team, and the effects the robotics program has had on some of the senior members.

Please read about it here: link [9]

SUPPORT OUR ROBOTICS TEAM

The team is raising funds to afford the trip to Worlds in Houston.  If you work for a business or own a business that would like to support the team with a monetary donation or in helping with printing banners or t-shirts, please reach out to Mr. Roper soon at broper@glendaleprep.org [10] about forming that partnership.

Family Giving

Support Our School & Earn an additional R&R Weekend!

Did you know you can support our school at no cost to you? The Arizona Public School Tax Credit allows you to donate up to $200 (individual) or $400 (married filing jointly) and get it back as a dollar-for-dollar credit on your state taxes! These funds help enhance student experiences with extracurricular activities, clubs, and field trips, and more.

Here’s the best part: If we reach our fundraising goal, the entire school will earn a well-deserved additional Rest & Relaxation (R&R) Weekend—no homework, no tests, just a stress-free break for all!

Make your contribution today and help us reach our goal! Use this link to Donate to Glendale Preparatory Tax Credit [11] before April 15. Please share this link with family and friends that live in the state of Arizona to help us reach our goal. Thank you for supporting our students!

Questions? Please reach out to Tammy Kempton, Family Giving Officer, at tkempton@glendaleprep.org [12].
